More Than 6,000 Business Locations to Have Wi-Fi Access in Four Years

STOCKHOLM – March 26, 2008 – Aptilo Networks (www.aptilo.com), the global leader in integrated solutions for Service Management and Access Control for wireless networks including WiMAX™, metro Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi hotspots, and O-Zone Networks Pvt (www.o-zone.in), a leading provider of wireless mobility solutions in India, announced today that Aptilo has been selected to provide its Service Management solution delivered as a managed service from one of Aptilo’s network operation centers (NOCs) for O-Zone’s growing number of Wi-Fi-enabled hotspots and metro deployments. O-Zone is working with India's largest listed real estate developer, DLF, to bring Wi-Fi Internet access to business-focused locales across the country.

With an anticipated 6,000 Wi-Fi locations within the next four years, O-Zone expects its customers and visitors roaming on its network to benefit from reliable access to more than 500 high-speed wireless Internet points in its first year. The new network will include comprehensive coverage in the popular business destinations throughout India starting with the Delhi & Gurgaon region. It will also blanket shopping complexes, coffee shops, fast food chains and hotels as well as major international airports throughout India.

Enabling Rapid Wi-Fi Rollouts with Managed Service
O-Zone is using the Aptilo Managed Service™, a hosted solution where Aptilo’s Service Management Platform™ and Aptilo Service Portal™ are centrally operated in one of Aptilo’s network operation centers. Aptilo’s flexible platform allows for a “build and transfer” deployment, which will enable O-Zone to transfer the managed service to O-Zone’s own data center at a later date. “The ability to transfer the hosted service to O-Zone in the future was critical for us,” noted Sarin.

The Aptilo Service Management Platform is a highly scalable carrier-grade wireless solution that effectively handles data and voice service delivery across multiple devices while enabling creation of new revenue-generating value-added services and supporting future network scalability in a unified platform. Aptilo’s feature-rich, comprehensive Wi-Fi service management solution encompasses authentication, authorization, accounting (AAA), portal management, service monitoring, security, statistics and customer care options.

The Aptilo Service Portal is the main tool for the automatic processing and display of data output from the provided service, including storage of usage information and events, aggregated statistics and monitoring data.
