Aruba Networks

Aruba Networks provides secure mobility wireless LAN solutions to some of the world’s biggest organisations, deploying networks of up to 10,000 access points within organisations such as Ohio State University and Microsoft.
Our vision is to help you build a user-centric secure mobility infrastructure; a solution that enables secure access to applications across wireless and wired enterprise networks.
We’ve designed our products to allow end-users to seamlessly roam between different locations within a campus or office building, to remote sites and even home offices while maintaining secure and consistent access to all of their network resources.
Using the Aruba Mobile Edge Architecture, IT departments can establish and enforce policies that control network access and prioritise application delivery based on an end-user’s organisational role and authorisation level. IT departments can also cost-effectively scale the same user-centric access model to remote locations, such as branch offices and home offices, to create a seamless mobility overlay spanning the extended enterprise network.
Aruba Networks provides solutions for Financial Services organisations, Retail, Healthcare, Education, General Enterprise and the Public Sector, solutions that include:
SECURE, STATEFUL WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY
Aruba Networks secures the communication from the client device all the way to the core of the network, and then separates each and every user from every other user using a high performance stateful firewall. Once a client has successfully authenticated into the network their session is secure from eavesdropping over the air, or on the wire, even though they share the medium with other users. The per-user stateful firewall ensures that the relationship between the client and their application guaranteeing not just the identity of the user, but the validity of their data.
WIRELESS INTRUSION DETECTION
Radio-based threats are a growing concern in enterprise security. Aruba’s Wireless Intrusion Prevention (WIP) solution addresses the two main classes of wireless threats. The first is the threat from wireless devices, including rogue APs, uncontrolled ad-hoc wireless networks, wireless bridges, and client devices that bridge traffic between wired and wireless interfaces. The second is the threat to wireless networks from attackers and intruders, and includes denial of service attacks, man-in-the-middle attacks, impersonation attacks, and key cracking attacks.
GUEST ACCESS
Aruba Network’s GuestConnectTM solution for wired and wireless guest access allows IT Managers to provide controlled access to the Internet for non-employees that protects the internal networks and provides auditing of activity. A built in Captive Portal provides secure web-based authentication, and the Policy Enforcement Firewall ensures separation between employee and guest traffic through Aruba’s identity based security.
